Everyone wants to speak and be heard because everyone needs reassurance of their worth reflected in others and in how captivated their audience is.
Everyone wants to be heard but rarely to listen. They are seldom genuinely involved in what someone is saying because sharing THEIR insight is more valuable to them than the purpose of the conversation.
Everyone wants to be heard but rarely speak their mind, wishing to be automatically understood by others, like a hunch or a sixth sense, expecting the listener/-s to cater to their needs.
Everyone wants to speak but never to lose an argument. They wish to be popular and validated at all costs even if they are wrong. Winning and feeling like an alpha is more valuable to them than learning and accepting a wrong.
Everyone wants to be heard, but never show gratitude or compassion when others go through the same wars they’ve endured. Just because they’ve managed to overcome theirs, it doesn’t mean it’s below them to share some lessons or provide a helpful hand to others in need.
Everyone wants to speak and be heard, but who the hell cares anymore about they want?!
